外国語指導助手（ALT）のご紹介

　ALT（外国語指導助手）とは、Assistant Language Teacherの略で、外国語を母国語とする外国語指導助手をいいます。
　小学校や中学校に児童・生徒の英語発音や国際理解教育の向上を目的に配置し、授業を補助しています。
　津幡町立小中学校に勤務する外国語指導助手を紹介します。

アナ　モーヘド(Anna　Morehead)

　皆さん初めまして。アメリカのインディアナ州から来たアナです！日本で住む時間をすごく楽しみにしています。そして日本文化と日本語についてもっと詳しくなりたいと思います。日本にいるうちに祭りや生け花や書道を始め、色々なことを体験してみることを願っています。
　大学では心理学を専攻し、美術、人間発達学も勉強してきました。美術と踊りと音楽に興味があります。景色や花、可愛い動物やキャラの絵を描くのが好きです。子供のころ、バレエとコンテンポラリーダンスを習っていました。本当に色々な音楽を聴くのが大好きですが、韓国のR＆BとＪ－POPが一番好きです！まだ日本語がそんなに話せませんが、今一生懸命勉強をしています！もし私を見かけましたら、いつでも気軽に声をかけてください！よろしくお願いします！Nice to meet you!

Hello everyone! My name is Anna and I`m from Indiana in the United States!I`m looking forward to my time here in Japan and want to learn more about the Japanese language and culture. I hope to experience lots of things while I am here and try various activities such as cultural festivals, ikebana, and calligraphy. I studied psychology, art, and human development in university. I have interests in art, dance, and music. I like to draw scenery, flowers, and cute animals/characters! I danced ballet and contemporary styles when I was younger. I love many types of music, but Korean R&B and J Pop are my favorite right now! Though I don`t speak much Japanese yet, I`m trying my best to learn it. Feel free to say hi if you see me! 津幡町の皆さん、こんにちは！イアン・スドルです。アメリカ北東部、私の故郷であるバーモント州のモリスビルから、はるばるやって来ました。過去8年間、ボストンに住んで、働いていました。日本は4回ぐらい訪れておりこの美しい国の魅力を経験してきました。大学でゲーム・アートとアニメーションを学び、ゲームをすること、ゲームについて話すことが大好きです。新しい食べ物を食べること、ランニング、ハイキング、料理すること、タトゥー、美術と読書が全部好きです。独学で日本語の勉強をしていますが、まだまだ初心者なので、日本にいる間日本語力を伸ばしたいです。津幡町で見かけたら、気軽く話しかけてください！

Hello Tsubata! My name is Ian Sudol, I am coming to Ishikawa all the way from the east coast of the USA from my hometown in the beautiful wooded hills of Morrisville Vermont, though I also have been living in Boston for the last 8 years or so. I have been in Japan four other times before now, traveling on holiday and experiencing this beautiful country and all the great things it has to offer. I have an education background in videogame development and love talking about and playing games. I also enjoy trying new food, running and hiking for exercise, learning new recipes, tattoos, art and reading. I have been studying Japanese in my free time but still have a long way to go and hope to improve while working here!. If you see me out and about please feel free to say hello!

皆さん、こんにちは！私はアメリカの西浜辺、ロサンゼルス出身のイザベラ・ベルナルドです。この度、私は初めて日本に来て、津幡で働くことをとてもたのしみにしています。アメリカの東浜辺のボストン大学から2026年卒業して、言語学と教育を学んでいました。私はいろんな言語を習うのが好きなので、日本にいる間に日本語をたくさん勉強したいです。私は外にいること、サイクリング、そして歩くのが好きです。読書と音楽を聴くことも好きです。最近はMRS. GREEN APPLEを聴いていて、日本のアーティストをもっと知りたいです。おすすめがあったらぜひ気楽に話しかけてください。旅行も大好きだけどアジアに来るのが今回は2回目です。日本とアジアのいろんな場所に行ってみたいです。津幡町の皆さんは親切なので、もっと多くの人々と会いたいです！

Hello, everyone! My name is Isabella Bernaldo, and I’m from Los Angeles, California, on the West Coast of the United States. This is my first time in Japan, and I’m so excited to be in Tsubata. I just graduated from Boston College (on the East Coast), where I studied Linguistics and Education. I love learning new languages, and I hope to learn some Japanese while I’m here. I enjoy being outside, biking, and walking. In my free time, I also like to read and listen to music. I just started listening to MRS. GREEN APPLE, and I want to listen to more Japanese artists. If you have any recommendations, that would be great! I love to travel, but I’ve only been to Asia once before. I can’t wait to explore more of Japan and other parts of Asia soon.
